The 100k Cheddar Challenge

In 2015 we will be tackling some of the biggest climbs in North Somerset as we climb up Brockley Combe, Burrington Combe and Cheddar Gorge.

Yes… it’s a bit hilly!

The full route starts at Clevedon and takes you on a 100km tour through the Chew Valley area and Mendip Hills, accumulating 4,000ft of climbing with a maximum gradient of 16%. The Cheddar Gorge climb has been featured as one of the 100 greatest climbs in the UK.

There is also a 50 km route that starts and finishes at Chew Valley Lake, joining in with the full route as they come past and tackling the two larger climbs.

We ask that each cyclist considers making a £5 donation to help cover costs and commits to raising a minimum of £30 for the Namisindwa Orphanage.
